Passing on your Skills

 ³⁰Then Moses said to the people of Israel, "See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; ³¹and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, ³²to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, ³³in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. ³⁴And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan.

In reading this morning, I thought it interesting that God didn't just give these guys the skills they needed to do this work, but that He also inspired them to teach others.  It would seem a general principle that those whom God endows with particular skills are obligated, both to use those skills for His glory, and to pass them on.
This is a basic principle underlying the work of Wycliffe, and one of the reasons we are doing this.  Glorifying God in an academically sound manner; doing things right, and helping others to do so, as well.
