My Second Post, again

Here I am in Thunderbird, setting up my ability to post with only a POP mail connection. If you know what that is, it's much more useful where we work than a web interface. This pic is a map of Paris for my Grandmother, who was wondering how to tell the Rive Gauche from the Rive Droit. Apparently it is clear if you assume you're coming up the river from the southeast.

This is mostly a post to see how this work, but while I'm here I'll just say that these last five months have been hard. I'm looking for ways of working through that, and hoping that this medium might help us better connect with folks that have not been living outside the US the last four years...
